The Springdale Free Public Library will present the following programs during the month of April.

Spring Tea and Authors

Wednesday, April 11, 2018. Time: Tea at 1:00 p.m Author Talks at 2:00 p.m.
“Spring Tease” this annual event is always well attended.  Light refreshments will be served at 1:00 p.m. and the authors will begin discussing their books at 2:00 p.m.  The following authors will be present: Madhuy Bazaz Wangu; Dana Faletti, Ellen Roth, Kathleen Shoop, J.D. Wylde. Following the “authors’ time” they will have their books available to purchase and autographed.   Make your required reservation early, we only have room for 30 guests.  $5.00/person.

Geraldine Yanni Science Program

Saturday, April 14, 2018. Time: 2:00 to 2:45 p.m.
Springdale Free Public Library Presents: “Wonders of Wildlife!” with the Pittsburgh Zoo. This free program is for children K-6th grades.  The Library, as part of The Geraldine Yanni Science Program, will host the Pittsburgh Zoo.  We will discover fur, feathers, and scales in this introduction to some of the world’s most fascinating animals.  Using live animals from the Zoo, we will explore the physical characteristics of each animal while learning how they are uniquely adapted to their environments.  Please register by calling the library at 724-274-9729.
